Happy Hearts Daycare (Owen Sound) Inc.

Happy Hearts started as a family-run daycare operating from Rockcliffe Pentecostal Church. As it grew, it was purchased by the church in 1989.  Since then, we have served and loved on hundreds of young families and their children. What once was a small preschool program has grown to a fully licensed child care centre with a licensed capacity of 133.

Happy Hearts serves children aged 0 months to 12 months with full day programming, before and after school care, school holidays and PD Days as well as summer programming.

Happy Hearts is licensed through the Ministry of Education and follows the regulations and guidelines as set out in the Child Care and Early Years Act.  Happy Hearts is a non-profit Christian Child Care Centre that is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.  At Happy Hearts, we believe that children are competent, capable, curious learners and will reach their individual potential based on their needs and abilities.  Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years entitled "How Does Learning Happen?" gives educators goals to help provide foundations for learning development.
